What does "forever" mean?

Forever means no billing event can ever deactivate a code you bought. The only exceptions are abuse, an illegal destination, or you deleting your own account. If Graklink ever winds down, our terms commit us to at least 12 months' notice and a migration path for active codes.

Most dynamic QR codes are hostages.

The industry's standard product breaks your printed code the moment you stop paying. QR Tiger's own FAQ says it plainly: "If your plan expires, it will stop working." The biggest player's trial codes don't just die. Scans get redirected to the vendor's own sales page. A Graklink code cannot do this to you. Canceling anything never breaks a printed code.

Why $7.99

I decided to launch Graklink when my Orlando DJ friend, Justin, asked if I could help him create a dynamic QR code that didn't require a subscription. I had already helped him build his website and started hosting it on a server I already owned, saving him some money. He needed to print a QR code on his posters, handouts, etc., and be able to change the link, but he just wasn't willing to add yet another subscription.

Everything we do these days seems to require a monthly charge. I asked him how much he'd be willing to pay for a QR code that worked forever. He said $25. That gave me the idea for Graklink.

I did the math, and that is why we launched at $7.99. It just made sense. I'm not interested in extracting every penny I can from the customer. Offer value. Offer reliability. Grow the business.

How it works

1. Point it

Give your code a destination: your site, menu, listing, anything.

2. Print it

Once. On anything. Signs, stickers, menus, merch. It's yours forever.

3. Change it anytime

New menu? New listing? Repoint the same printed code from your phone in seconds.

The honest math

Here is what your code actually costs us, from our providers' published prices. Delivering a scan (the lookup, the redirect, the analytics) runs about 57 cents per million. Checking the place your code points at against Google's list of dangerous sites, every day, adds pennies a year. Our competitors know these numbers. It's why a high-margin product gets sold as a subscription that breaks your printed code when you stop paying. We charge once, because at these costs, once is enough.

13,000,000

$7.99

what you pay, once, forever

We hope we lose money on your code. We want your code scanned thirteen million times. That means whatever you printed it on worked. We'll take that trade.

Your code runs on Cloudflare, the same network that serves roughly a fifth of the web: 300+ cities, globally redundant by design, no single server to fail, so the scan resolves near the scanner. World-class delivery is now so cheap that "forever" is an honest promise, not a gamble.
